The Society was part of the small group invited by the French Ambassadrice to this ceremony of remembrance.

Wreaths were laid in front of the memorial. The first wreath was laid by HE Ambassadrice Catherine COLONNA and the Defence Attaché Admiral Hervé HAMELIN.

In silence the Ambassadrice read the names of each of the French military personnel who had sacrificed their lives since last year’s ceremony. After each name she said ‘Mort pour la France’ –  ‘Died for France’

The Society was represented at the ceremony by Simon HORSINGTON, Vice-Président d’Honneur founder.
