A conversation with Judge Douglas Ginsburg

Fireside Chat - June 25 2026, 05.30 pm (UK time)

Members of the AJFB/FBLS will recall the interesting discussion last December with Judge Douglas Ginsburg of the DC Circuit Court of Appeals, one of America’s most senior judges.  Ian Forrester and Judge Ginsburg discussed a number of important constitutional questions.  These have not become less important during the last six months.  Judge Ginsburg is going to be in Edinburgh later this month and we are delighted to report that he is willing to have another “fireside chat” with Ian  during his visit.  We will meet in the apartment of Ian Forrester and expect that a number of other legal luminaries may be present as well.  This is a save the day message.  A more precise message with log in details  will be sent round later, but for the moment please note that there will be an online webinar meeting of the Society at about five thirty pm on Thursday June 25.  Mark your diary!
